JULY 20 NOTICE:

On May 13, the Hemp Industries Association (HIA) informed its state chapters that the HIA was insolvent.
The HIA is in breach of the state chapter agreement by not distributing the 50% membership share to
Texas Hemp Industries Association (Texas HIA) who have not received any distribution for 2020.
On the July 14, the HIA announced the closure of the state chapter program.

At this time we do not encourage membership to the national HIA.

The TXHIA is its own 501(c)6 entity and is currently evaluating best options on how to restructure itself for the benefit of our members and setup CRM, member registration and payment systems.

Since 2015, the TXHIA  has intervened on behalf of individuals and businesses
who have had encounters with
Department of Public Safety, Department of Health and Human Services and the Texas Department of Agriculture.  We have good working relationships with the legislators and these agencies as laws and rules are being established.

We has fought and won on behalf of Texas hemp retailers and growers since 2015 through legislation, educational events and continued advocacy efforts.
We look forward to you joining our new association
